A luminous floral study emerging from a shadowed background, Peony Flower captures the quiet drama of a bloom bathed in soft light. Each petal unfolds in layers of muted whites, soft lilacs, and vibrant pinks—evoking both delicacy and strength in a single composition.
Hand-painted using professional watercolours on 100% cotton Arches paper (approximately 38 x 56 cm) frame (56 x 72 cm.), this piece explores contrast and emotion through a refined interplay of colour and form. It is one of my signature large-format works, created slowly, layer by layer, to capture the movement and life within the flower.
Framed with care using a 5,5 cm white mat and a soft metallic frame, and protected with glass to preserve its detail and richness for years to come.
